Our mission is to raise awareness of Rett Syndrome while donating to research and family resources through IRSF. Along with raising money for IRSF, we will also be donating money to the Epilepsy Foundation. While Chelsea’s seizures weren’t able to be controlled by medicine or diet(ketogenic), she never had a seizure while being pushed in her running cart. Even with her severe and multiple disabilities Chelsea had a love of running, which is the catalyst for starting this Charity.
We will also be recruiting people to run races with us while collecting donations and raising awareness of the debilitating effects epilepsy and Rett Syndrome can have on families. We hope to grow this organization to a national level and show families that there are no limitations of what you can do. God gave us freewill, society has created obstacles, and disabilities create hope!
